"How do we figure out how many calories foods have?"
Answer:
Check every food's nutrition label, and be sure to watch the portion size. For foods that don't have a food label, any paperback calorie book will work. You can find these at most grocery stores, Wal-Mart, Target and also any bookstore. You can also find this information online. * * * NO TUESDAY NIGHT CLASS (FEBRUARY 5) * * *


Can you believe it's already February?

Well I rung in the month of love with a case of the flu, and a really bad sore throat came along with it, including 7 full days of fever . . . I finally gave in to the "germ" that made me sick, and visited the doctor's office today. I really hate going in there, I am sure I caught a new sickness -- the waiting room was full of (sickly looking) people! I probably looked sick to them too (since I am), but anyway, it didn't take long to say "Ahhh" and nearly hyperventilate (you know, when the doctor says "take a deep breath" while she is listening to your back with the stethoscope...about 6 times in a row, without waiting for you to exhale).

So after a quick visit to CVS Pharmacy, I am now on my way to wellness, with one whole antibiotic pill coursing through my system.

With that said, I still have an annoying cough when I talk, so I won't put you through the torture of listening to me tonight on our call. I am going to post some yoga and pilates videos below, for you to watch, in place of class. I hope you enjoy them.

Hope you are having a wonderful week and I can't wait to visit with you again! I am getting lots of success stories by email, and I am dying to tell you about your fellow Journey to Fitness members!
